Aberdeen Hospital's Palliative Care Unit
The 8 Masonic Lodges in Pictou County helped raise $2,100.00 for the Aberdeen Hospital's Palliative Care Unit.

SHRINERS AT THE MALL
The Shriners selling tickets in support of the Shriners Children Hospital at the Highland Square Mall.
Selling tickets were Jim Mitchell, Illustrious Potentate and Olaf Grosvold, District Deputy Grand Master, Pictou District.

HOSPITAL OXYGEN GENERATOR
Pictou County Masons in October 2005 made a presentation to the Aberdeen Hospital, Palative Care Unit of an Oxygen Concentrator Unit. The cost of $1200 was shared with a donation of $600 from Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia, A.F. & A.M., and $75 from each Lodge in the Pictou County District. In above picture making the presentation is Lloyd MacKay, District Deputy Grand Master, Steven Stewart, Worshipful Master of Doric Lodge Trenton and receiving the Oxygen Concentrator is Rhonda Dykstra, Respiratory Therapist, representing the Palative Care Department.
